Pulse trawl fishing

Pulse trawl fishing is based on beam trawl fishing, but the pulse trawl doesn’t use tickler chains. Instead, the pulse trawl has pulse modules. By way of using these modules, an electric field is created which startles the fish into the net. Just as in beam trawling, pulse trawl fishing uses two nets that are cast out on either side of the ship. Using an iron tube (also known as the beam), the nets are kept open. Because the nets trawl over the bottom of the sea, it is necessary to have excellent quality nets.
