Flyshoot fishery

In flyshoot fishing, a buoy with an attached flyshoot rope (Combirope) is cast overboard, after which the ship sails half a square. Then the net is cast overboard. The ship finishes the outline of the square and arrives at the buoy again. The crew picks up the other end and boards the net. The fish sees the flyshoot line and is startled into the net. This kind of fishing is only done during the day, because the flyshoot line is invisible to fish at night.
