When a ship threatens to sink, the crew’s last resort will be the life raft. VCU Safety Centre certifies and supplies life rafts which meet the client´s demands for the commercial shipping sector as well as for the water sports industry.

VCU is dealer of the French top brands Zodiac (commercial shipping) and Plastimo (water sports) and is certified to inspect and certify both brands.

For the commercial shipping industry, VCU supplies approved Zodiac SOLAS life rafts which undergo an inspection every year and every 2,5 year.

The possibility also exists to enter into a rental agreement – our VCU staff can inform you in detail regarding this option.

The inspections of the life rafts, as well as the different types of lifejackets, are carried out by several certified quality inspectors who receive regular supplemental training in France.
